Parts and Service:

The vast majority of what we have learned about these engines is from our own repairs and from friends we have met in offering literature and parts who have come up with ideas on parts and repairs.

We still offer literature & parts for these little fun machines for the fellows who are mechanically inclined and have the shop resources to effect repairs. However, keeping with wanting to have these classic machines on the road for years to come we are now offering repair, trade in service or direct sale.

Three Options for Repair:

· Do it yourself - we furnish prepaid literature & parts, technical support via telephone and email. Recommend supplying a digital photo of your engine plus history you know about it. Please do not start wrenching on an engine without the literature. There are many small parts that when lost or broken can't be replaced. We do not sell parts unless you have our literature.

· Send us your engine for repair - We do the repair on a time & material (T&M) basis. We send YOUR engine back to you with a 30 day warranty on all repairs.

· Trade In for a running engine with a 30 day warranty. This depends on the condition of your engine. You send your engine to us. We send you a rebuilt engine with a 30 day warranty. We subtract trade in value and apply it to the cost of a rebuilt engine $350.

Repair Pointers

We are an authorized Tanaka Parts Dealer. We also have parts no longer offered by Tanaka. These are our original designs and in many cases are better than new. We also pull used parts that we sell parts at 75% of original replacement value.
